Babywearing & Landscaping

I decided my sidewalk was too plain, so I ordered 93 bricks of Belgian Block, and I dug some trenches.

The next day my pallet arrived and I put them in place, one at a time, while wearing k on my back. :) It was a lot of work, but the results were worth it.

I can’t wait to fill the beds with flowers!

Lanscaping for Winter with Flowering Kale

Don’t miss the adorable mini-spruce trees in the blue pots! My flower boxes still need to be tended for winter, I may just get some pine greens to stick in them with a big red bow post-Thanksgiving.

36 Weeks: Maternity Photos

We hired asya to take these shots and had a great time in her studio, at Merion Park and at our home. (Follow-up newborn session to come!)

Baby Shower

Today was a beautiful day for a party. We had a great time at A la Maison Bistro and carried on the party back at our house. A big thank you to our family and friends for this day and for their generous gifts for BabyB.

The hand-painted caramel bee favors came from John & Kira’s Artisian Chocolates (made in Philadelphia!)

Fall Landscaping: Complete!

I had to wait until we got some sunshine to take this pic. Here is the finished landscaping project.

A Nursery at the Butz House!

Jonathan’s old office has finally made the transition from baby storage room to nursery with the addition of our new crib.

(We spend most of our time together snickering like teenagers… must have something to do with the pregnancy hormones I’m high on/ giving off these days.)

We unwrapped the sailboat mobile Sarah picked out months ago…

Okay, so don’t think we’re going overboard (hah!) on this boat theme… we just really liked the rich red colors and fun textures of this tugboat bedding.
Tortoise and Bertie Bear look right at home, don’t they?
