Karen regularly runs through the house jabbering about something. It’s not always clear what she’s excited about, but it’s always fun to watch.

Karen had pulled the tea tray over the edge of the side table to reach the sugar bowl.

Sarah caught her happily licking her fingers.

“Sugar!” said Karen fleeing around the dining table as we tried to be stern and muttered angry words to ourselves about Grandpa’s teaching her of sugar in the first place.

I wiped the sugar into my hand, and a little fell to the floor.

Karen wailed, “Oh No!” and dove on the floor in a desperate attempt to retrieve it.
