Last night my families came to town and we went out to Moshulu for an anniversary dinner. The staff exceeded our expectations again, with a complimentary bottle of champagne from the general manager to start the evening. Everyone seemed pleased with the dishes, Moshulu knows how to do good food! And since we took along our cake top layer from a year ago, the pastry chef wrote us a little chocolate message when it came time for dessert!We had a lovely time and are going to make this an annual event.

We married each other in good company and celebrated with dance, food and drink in a manner most befitting the occasion. And all the days that followed have been more wonderful than those before.The clouds broke just in time for our wedding, and the rain returned just after we left on our Honeymoon.

Traveling in Europe in 2001, I bought a pair of earrings in Barcelona, not knowing who would one day receive them. I gave them to Sarah six months after we met, and she wore them on our wedding day.

She’s been humoring me from the start, apparently. :)
